Nottingham College Parent Event
A Level Parent Information Event – Wednesday 28 April, 5-6pm
Vocational Learning Parent Information Event – Thursday 29 April, 5-6pm
The events will cover key themes including different levels of study, jobs and careers, core skills, financial support, enrichment, work experience and student health and wellbeing. Pathways to Property
Over the coming two weeks Pathways to Property will be hosting two webinars that are free to attend and are suitable for any student, parent or teacher looking to find out more about careers in property. The first webinar providing an overall introduction to property as a career route, the second webinar will provide a specific case study with a property firm joining for the session.
Webinar 1: Careers in Property – An Introduction - Thursday 29 April from 17:00 – 17:45
This webinar is a great starting point to find out more about what a career in property looks like, routes into the industry and a chance to hear more about how the Pathways to Property programme can support you on your journey into the industry through an online course, Summer School, work experience, mentoring and financial support.
Hear from industry professional Aurora Barrett, a previous Summer School attendee and 2020 Graduate from the University of Reading. Aurora is now a Graduate Surveyor at Savills and will talk about her experience working in property and how the Pathways to Property programme supported her into the industry.
There will also be an opportunity to join an interactive Q&A session to ask property-related questions that may help guide future career choices.

Webinar 2: An Industry talk with SEGRO - Thursday 6 May from 17:00 – 17:45
This webinar will be hosted by property firm SEGRO, one of the leading owner-manager and developer of industrial properties. This is great chance to learn more about the property industry by hearing first hand from the people who work in SEGRO about the career paths you can explore. SEGRO will also be presenting on a key topic in the industrial sector – data centres – and why they are so important to everyday life. There is so much more to property than the buying and selling of houses, and SEGRO is a great example of how diverse an industry it is.

Pathways to Property are still accepting applications for its annual Summer School, providing students in Year 12 a great chance to develop your understanding of careers in property whilst gaining experience of University life and developing some key skills great for any UCAS or job application.
