Nottingham Girls' Academy

Context

Nottingham Girls’ Academy provides education for approximately 870 pupils, aged from 11 to 18 years of age.

The Academy is situated in an area of high deprivation but draws pupils from all over the City of Nottingham – usually from around 50 different primary schools each year. Approximately 45% of the children attending Nottingham Academy are described as disadvantaged.

The Academy community is very diverse with approximately 60% of pupils having English as an Additional Language. We celebrate our diversity and are proud of who we are.
